My life was chalked full of stress, high anxiety, and bouts of depression (sometimes requiring medication and therapy, sometimes both) despite my loving family. No matter what I did, NOTHING worked or stuck and often left me worse than when I began. Serious physical health issues started appearing in 2012. By 2013, I found myself looking as pregnant as my daughter and daughter-in-law. Wow! I felt so discouraged (which only added stress)! Despite my efforts, I just kept spiraling down a very dark hole. After a couple of years working with a therapist, the progress I made with her and her encouragement, I found a coach (health and life coach). Changed my life and I will be forever grateful with the work I did with both and continue to work with coaches in my journey of being my best self and to look and feel better than ever inside and out.
As I worked with a health and life coach, we worked with all areas of my life throughout my journey.
I realized how important this work is and coupled with my passion and joy in helping others. I just knew I had to help others find and experience the freedom, peace, and better health that I have found.
Not “dissing” doctors by any means, but most were only treating my “symptoms” rather than the “root cause”. By working with a coach, I found what works for me and my individual body, heart and soul (bio individuality) and getting to the root cause, which more often than not, is in the digestive system/gut health. I’ve also found this to be true with my clients who also “had no clue”. We began focusing on how and when I ate versus only what I ate. (I was eating mostly a very healthy diet.) Focusing on things around those two factors, bio individuality and how and when I ate, almost immediately changed my digestive health and positively impacted my other symptoms. Who knew? Within just 3 months time I felt so much better and was so much happier than I had been for a very long time.
So much so, I began to get curious as to just how healthy my “whole self” can be. During these two years – I was able to remove most of my prescription meds, as my overall health has improved, by simply making minor lifestyle changes that have had a huge impact, despite having a full hysterectomy during that time and compiling my issues with even more abrupt hormone changes. Along with working mostly full to part time, going back to school part to full time so that I can help others, enjoying family and being a grandmother, continuing to improve my own health inside and out, start and grow my own coaching practice, and have truly experienced the most confidence, self love, joyful, gratifying, and happiest I’ve ever been.
