All the past is is your perceptions of events that happened. You can change how your perceive the past and create new truths. You can create new stories from these events from a more empowered point of view.
Many limiting beliefs and current life patterns are due to old beliefs that at one point may have had purpose and served to protect us or make us feel better at that moment. However, in the present, it is not only not serving you, but it is a limiting belief that keeps you from achieving your dreams and desires.
If you are feeling stagnant and stuck in your current life situation, take time to ponder what are the limiting beliefs that are keeping you from moving forward? When did this belief come to be? How old were you? How did it serve you then? Express gratitude for that belief in that moment and then lovingly release it and plan your steps to move forward.
